Description

The Bare Knuckle 59 Slab Board Single Coil pickup is based off those used when Fender first came out with a Strat that featured a rosewood fingerboard. Made from vintage correct black fibreboard flatwork, hand bevelled Alnico V magnets and scatter-wound by hand with 42AWG Heavy Formvar wire, these pickups produce a hollow and woody sound. The low end is tight, the highs are open, and the moderate vintage output produces lots of percussive attack, great for a slab board neck. This set comes with cream covers.
